2. Remove the existing plastics:
-
Begin by unclipping the two front plastic covers on the front bumper. Behind these covers are (4) four factory bolts under each cover.
3. Measuring:
-
Before removing these torx bolts, you need to measure your center point:
- Measure the TOP torx bolt on the driver side to passenger side. Our measurement is 33-1/8" wide.

- Find the center of this measurement, our measurement shows 16-9/16" is the center. Mark this point with a sharpie or stencil. Double check your own center.

- Next, measure out 25-3/4" (the width of the tray) on a tape measure and center this measurement to the 16-9/16" mark you just made. Now mark each end of the measurement. This is the width you will cut on the center bumper panel and frame.

4. Remove your upper center panel with the (8) bolts (4 per side) and (2) on bottom, and skid plate.

5. Cutting:
-
Remove the upper center bumper panel from the vehicle and cut the panel at the width markings you just made. You only need to cut down to the bottom of the mesh section. As well as the rear corners at the bottom of the panel as seen below:

Once cut, reinstall the center bumper panel to see where you need to cut the frame at the same width of the panel cuts. Once marked on the frame, remove your cut, center bumper panel and cut your frame as marked, downward.Once you have made your cuts, attempt to test fit the clearance of your winch tray. Trim as necessary. You will be re-using the (4) studs/nuts in the image below to mount your Winch Tray.

6. Remove Existing Factory Frame Bolts to reuse (pictured above):
-
If you are installing the winch tray on a vehicle with an existing front bumper, it is necessary to remove the bumper for proper clearance and installation. Use a socket wrench to remove all the center mounting bolts securing the bumper to the frame.
-
Keep all hardware to reinstall with the winch tray.
7. Mount the Winch Tray onto the Vehicle Frame:
-
With the help of an assistant, lift the winch tray and position it on the vehicle’s chassis. The tray should sit securely in place with the mounting holes aligning to the existing holes in the vehicle frame.
-
Tip: Make sure the winch tray is centered and level before securing it.
-

8. Secure the Winch Tray:
-
Once positioned correctly with OEM Factory nuts threaded, use the provided M12 bolts and washers to secure the winch tray to the vehicle's frame at the lower mounting points. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to ensure even pressure on both sides.
TIP: The same bolt used for the forward hole skid plate mount is used for the lower tray mount, leave this bolt removed until reinstalling skid plate.

9. Reinstall Front Center Bumper Panel:
-
Since the front bumper panel was removed earlier for cutting, now is the time to reinstall it. Align your cut/trimmed bumper panel with the mounting holes and use the factory bolts to secure it in place. Reinstall your skid plate as well, then bumper covers. Tighten to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification.

10. Final Inspection:
-
Once all bolts are tightened, inspect the installation for any movement or misalignment.
Ensure that all tools and materials are removed from the work area.
11. Test:
-
Gently test the sliders by applying some weight to ensure they are securely installed.
Maintenance Tips
-
Periodically check the tightness of the bolts after installation, especially after off-road use.
-
Clean the tray regularly to prevent rust and maintain appearance.
