Installing the Signature Autosports Off-Road Onboard Air Compressor Kit on your Ineos® Grenadier® is a great way to enhance your vehicle's functionality and utility. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you with the installation:

Tools and Materials Needed

• T4, T20, T40 and T45 Torx-bit

• 10mm, 13mm, and 17mm Socket or Wrench
• Zip Ties
• Safety glasses and gloves

Installation Steps:

1. Preparation:
• Park your Ineos® Grenadier® on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
• Lay out all the components of the kit. Check for any missing parts.

2. Disconnect your battery
• Remove the battery cover panel located under your rear, driver-side passenger seat via the (2) T20 torx-bit screws. Unplug your battery.

3. Remove your rear trunk matt

4. We are going to remove the passenger side trunk plastic panel. Remove the (3) Rubber Caps at the bottom of the passenger-side plastic trunk panel. Remove the 10mm nuts in each of those holes, as well as the (2) T45 torx-bit bolts at towards the center of the same panel. We have provided new hardware to replace these (2) T45 bolts, however, feel free to hold onto them as backup.

5. The plastic panel is now only being held on by metal/plastic clips. Begin tugging the top upwards, near the window, and move downward along the side edges of the plastic panel while pulling out towards yourself.

6. With this panel off. We are going to move to the rear passenger-side door and tug off the running plastic near the flooring. Remove the (2) T40 bolts and 10mm bolt.

7. Remove C-Pillar Trim
• Pop off cover first, then upper panel, then lower panel
• Remove 17mm seatbelt bolt. IMPORTANT: Make sure seatbelt does not fully retract as it can be hard to get it to re-extend. ***During reinstallation later, torque down to 30 ft lbs.
• Pull back weather stripping and trim piece should come out

8. Next, fish our harness through the second seat box hole and out the rear passenger hole, feeding to the trunk and secure along OEM the factory wiring harness

9. Remove the 10mm ground nut towards the rear of the wheel well, slide on the Black/White wire of your new harness and reinstall 10mm nut as your ground

10. Land the (2) Red power feeds to the battery positive post in the fuse box

11. To clean up the harness feed, cut a small notch out of the rear tray cover before replacing back in

12. Repeat steps 3 through 7 in reverse to reinstall your interior panels with your notched tray cover
IMPORTANT: Torque seatbelt bolt to 30 ft lbs when tightening

13. Next, we are going to remove the cover tray to your mounting plate via the (9) M6 T20 torx-bit on the face of your kit. There are (3) bolts on the top and (6) on the front face. Remove these and lay the front cover plate down safely

14. Align your mounting plate (back piece with the air compressor mounted to it) with the (2) factory holes in the plastic trim. Then insert the (2) M8 bolts with their respective washers to firmly hold the mounting plate to the interior

15. Plug in your main harness male to female connectors. This will give the unit power and ground, including the switch. Then, while supporting the tray cover panel with switch, feed the switch wire through the switch hole and connect the switch male and female connectors (white/smaller of the two plugs). Then, connect your larger switch harness end to the female connector coming off of the compressor. Press switch into switch hole after plugs are connected

16. With everything plugged in, carefully align your tray cover panel and reinstall the (9) m6 T4 Torx-bit bolts with their respective washers ONLY by a few threads at first. By lightly snugging the bolts, not fully over tightening, screw them in with any variation of cross-cross pattern so the tray seats evenly on the mounting tray.

17. Tuck provided hose and gauge into the storage cubby while not in use

18. Connect your vehicle's battery and test the pump. To avoid draining your car battery, use the pump only while the vehicles is on

19. Operation
• Read your tire to understand the correct amount of air pressure you need to set the tire to for on-road operation
• Leave vehicle running to avoid draining your battery
• Remove ARB dust cap
• Plug male end of hose into the ARB quick-release pump connection

• Plug female end of hose into bottom gauge connection

• Turn on the gauge via the 'ON' button on the gauge face
• Turn on the pump via the pump switch at the top of the panel
• Connect your gauge hose to your tire's valve stem until you hit the desired/required amount of air pressure
• Once you have added air, turn OFF your pump and gauge, and remove your gauge hose and snug your tire's valve stem cap back on
• Disconnect your hose by pulling the female end (pump side) handle towards the pump to release the hose
• Store your hose and gauge in your storage cubby

Final Inspection
• O
nce all bolts are tightened, inspect the installation for any movement or misalignment. Ensure that all tools and materials are removed from the work area.
